Recently, Fujifilm has launched its two cameras known as the FinePix JZ300 and JZ500. It turned out that the major differences between the two devices are color choices as well as resolution. The JZ300 is available in silver as well as black colors.
The main advantage of the model is its wide-angle lens which comes with a 10x zoom. The body of the camera is covered with metal providing a more upscale feel. But one should say that it is slightly slick. But be careful with the flash as you can block it by means of your finger.
It is offered with basic controls. On top of the camera, there is a zoom ring, shutter release and also power button. On back you are able to find the LCD, shooting mode dial, playback button, directional pad as well as playback button.
There are only two tabs in the menu system, which means that it won’t be a problem to manage with it. Although the camera provides you with not so many options but still you should know several things. If a person in the picture has red eyes, the camera is able to digitally remove that.
There are shooting modes for point-and-shoot users. You can take advantage of a standard Auto mode, SR Auto, Program AE mode, and Natural Light mode.
As for shooting performance, it is above average. The start up time of the camera is 2.5 seconds. It offers just almost the same time, when it comes to short-to-short captures. The camera comes with a good shutter lag. You are able to get good photos. You will be satisfied with its color performance.
